Glow Water

Ingredients

  • 3 cans seltzer water
CUCUMBER MINT:
  • 1 cucumber, cut into 1/2″ rounds
  • 3 sprigs mint
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
PEACH GINGER:
  • 1 peach, sliced
  • Ginger, skin removed and sliced into rounds
  • 1 cinnamon stick
STRAWBERRY LIME:
  • 3 strawberries, halved
  • 1 lime, thinly sliced

Directions

  1. Combine seltzer water with the ingredients of your choice. Stir (and muddle, if desired) your ingredients to release more flavor. Serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator until ready to drink.

Strawberry-Basil Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 1 (14-oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 (5-oz.) can evaporated milk
  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon table salt
  • 1 (16-oz.) container fresh strawberries, coarsely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

Directions

  1. Whisk together first 6 ingredients; cover and chill 2 hours.
  2. Meanwhile, pulse strawberries, basil, and lemon juice in a food processor 5 or 6 times or until finely chopped. Stir strawberry mixture into chilled milk mixture.
  3. Pour milk mixture into freezer container of a 1-qt. electric ice-cream maker, and freeze according to manufacturer’s instructions. (Instructions and times will vary.)
  4. Remove container with ice cream from ice-cream maker, and freeze 30 minutes.
  5. Transfer mixture to an airtight container or a loaf pan covered tightly with aluminum foil; freeze 3 to 4 hours or until firm.

Strawberry Frosted Layer Cake

  • 1box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ white cake mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and whole eggs called for on cake mix box
Frosting
  • 3/4cup butter, softened
  • 4oz (half of 8-oz package) cream cheese, softened
  • 4 1/2cups powdered sugar
  • 1/3cup seedless strawberry jam
  • 1teaspoon vanilla Betty Crocker™ red gel food color
  • 1cup sliced fresh strawberries (about 10 medium)

  • Whole fresh strawberries
