Ingredients

  • 5 tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. almond paste
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 large Egg
  • 3 tbsp. unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp. heavy or whipping cream
  • 3 large egg whites
  • 1 c. red wine
  • 1 c. fresh red currants
